Les Oilers se sont retrouvés en très mauvais posture avec un compte de 3 défaites en trois matchs pour débuter les séries contre le Kraken. Le DG L'Ecuyer a analyser la stratégie du Kraken et a modifié la sienne avant le 4e match. Cette nouvelle stratégie a été payante pour les Oilers qui ont finalement remporté la série en 7 matchs. Bonjour à tous chers collègues !

Vous avez peut être remarqué que l'affichage des échanges a été mis à jour dernièrement, autant sur la page d'accueil du nouveau site que dans la page dédiée à cet effet (http://beta.powerplay00.com/league.php?page=trades). Il s'agit d'un nouveau module qui charge directement les données générées par le STHS, sans intervention manuelle de notre cher commissaire !

À terme, je vise à remplacer complètement l'historique "statique" des transactions par saison (http://www.powerplay00.com/files/Current/trades.html) mais j'ai encore certaines limitations, donc le fichier statique sera encore maintenu pour un certain temps (désolé Max!).

En développement ce nouveau module, j'ai décidé d'ajouter la possibilité de voter sur les échanges, pour rendre le site encore plus interactif, favoriser la participation des DG et encourager la transition vers le nouveau site.

Au niveau du système de votes, il est possible pour un DG de voter pour une ou l'autre ou même les deux équipes impliquées dans un échange. Il est donc possible qu'on trouve que les deux équipes ont fait un bon échange, alors on peut encourager les 2 équipes dans ce cas-là.

Je trouvais intéressant d'avoir une sorte de "feedback" des collègues directeurs généraux sur nos différentes transactions.

Toutefois, en discutant avec certains DGs, ils m'ont émis des réserves sur les effets moins positifs de l'instauration d'un système de votes, notamment une diminution potentielle des échanges pour éviter d'avoir "l'air fou" sur la place publique. Honnêtement, je n'y avais pas nécessairement pensé sous cet angle, mais ce sont des arguments valables.

Comme il est très important de conserver un climat de confiance entre tous les DG et qu'on ne veut pas nécessairement répliquer des problématiques vécues sur les réseaux sociaux, on va probablement retirer cette fonctionnalité temporairement et la remettre à l'essai éventuellement.

Néanmoins, j'aimerais quand même récolter vos avis sur le sujet, donc n'hésitez-pas à répondre à ce message ou à m'écrire directement par courriel.

On s'entend que le tout doit toujours rester dans le respect. Je pense d'une certaine manière, on a tous l'air fou avec certains de nos trades ;).

Même que je donnerais moi-même un like à CGY!! Wahlstrom reste un mega gamble... mais des fois, y faut ce qu'il faut. Liquider 20M$, c'est pas toujours jolie. C'est sur que lorsque tu laisse partir un Ovechkin, c'est pas magique non plus, mais en même temps, il faut respecter le processus. Reste que dans ce trade là, j'avais eu Rantanen, so eh, je pense que c'était win-win. Avoir gardé Ovechkin, peut-être Blake Coleman sur sa 3e ligne n'aurait pas anéanti mes espoirs de survivre aux puissants Stars :) Héhé. Qu'est-ce tu veux, ca fait parti de la game.

Perso, j'aime ben le vote. Le fait de donner un ''like'' à un team veut pas dire que l'autre team a fait un mauvais move. Juste, ''Oh Wow, nice pick up bud!''. Perso, comme DG, je ne le vois plus demême.

Évidemment, le tout dans le respect.

Daniel LÉcuyer (Oilers) On 4th December / 12:15pm : J'y vais pour le vote. Ca reste un jeu et certains échanges qui semblent aller d'un côté au début tournent de bord après quelques temps. Il n'y a pas de honte a se faire juger sur nos échanges. Nous avons tous une façon de gérer différente et c'est ce qui fait que cette ligue est belle..

Pourquoi ne pas avoir une personne qui analyserait un vieil échange à chaque mois et commenter qui est le gagnant de celui ci après un certain temps, voire quelques années?
